Wow! May got away from me!!!

I can't believe it June 1st already. This is going to be a crazy month for us with lots of activities, we will be on the go a lot. We had a parent teacher/staff meeting tonight to get us familiar with Maya's school. I still can't believe she goes to school this fall. They grow up oh so fast. The meeting went well. It was somewhat informative. I did learn that there will be 2 other Maya in her grade. (I'm hoping since there are 3 grade primaries they will split them up, just to make things less confusing). I was also disappointed to learn that their lunch time/recess monitor are 1 adult to 50 kids. I had planned to leave Maya there so I wouldn't have to make 4 trips walking to & from school each day dragging the other kids with me BUT now I feel really uncomfortable with that ratio. So I'm not sure what we are going to do.

Maya goes to school by herself for a little over an hour on Thursday morning, so I guess that will be a bit of a test run for us. lol



Well lots to do & lots going on this month that I will fill you in on later. (If anybody is actually reading this...ha ha ha)

Ouch! We have 2 pains in the neck!

I woke up yesterday with a stiff neck, pain running across my shoulders and down my right arm. I made it through the day medication free. Today it is so much worse. I've been taking back pain pills which only offer minor relief for a few hours at a time. I had this for about 2 weeks about a month ago thought it was gone but "NO" it's back. My poor husband has had it for almost a month. I think it has to be how we sleep or something, as neither of us remember getting injured in the daytime. We've tried new pillows but nope still in pain. We even tried sleeping on the opposite sides of the bed. lol
Our bed is going to be 6 yrs old this summer (we got it as a wedding gift). Could we have worn out a mattress in 6 years? Doesn't seem possible...it was one of those expensive ones...You know the one they bounce the bowling ball on and you don't feel it move.

Well I guess if we aren't better by Monday, it's off to the Dr.'s or to the mattress store. UGH!

To Share or Not to Share

Now that I've started this blog, do I want my friends and family to know about it? I've always been a strong believer that whatever you put out there on the Internet is something for the world to know. I'm not a really a secretive person, in fact I hate secrets & can't really keep one (truth be told). I'm the type of person who is dying to have all the Christmas gifts opened to see if you like what I bought you. My husband says I'm too honest & I need to keep somethings to myself (Gee he's really going to love this blog idea...ha ha).

Maya bite Sophie again on Wednesday. I swear that girl is going to drive me crazy. This time I took away "Lammie" (her stuff lamb from Build A Bear). She has slept with him every night since she got him on her 4Th birthday. I really hope that this works...it is so frustrating not being able to get through to her and I feel so bad for Sophie.

The photo shows Maya & "Lammie"...isn't it amazing how sweet & angelic they are when they are sleeping.

Ok! Here Goes!

I'm not sure if anyone will ever want to read this and know what my (our) daily life entails but here we go. I honestly never thought I would have a blog. Actually, I never thought I would understand how to make a blog. So if you are joining me on this ride I please ask you to bare with me as I

"learn the ropes"

as they say.

This is my 1st post ever. So I guess I should introduce myself...I am a 33 yr old wife & mom to 2 cute girls. I've been married for almost 6 years to a wonderful guy(most of the time). We have been together for almost 15 years. We welcomed our oldest daughter, Maya in 2005 & Sophie joined us in 2008. (I will introduce you to them better later).

Today has been a crazy day(which is still going on), so I can see this is going to be an after the kids go to bed kind of thing.

Maya bite Sophie on the arm today and left an imprint of all of her teeth. The weather has been crappy so we've been trapped inside all day. Now, I've got to wrangle them through the grocery store. I did feed them earlier so I hope that helps.
